“Earth: Garden of Future Sounds” | Large Scale Immersive & Interactive Installation

Welcome to the Museum of Galactic Consciousness. We are pleased to share with you, traveler, our newest exhibit modeled after the recently activated planet, Earth. Earth is known for its biodiversity. Step inside and feel what it is like to experience “night” on Earth.

An interactive installation created from the perspective of a future where humanity has recognized the connection between everything and everyone on this planet. Through this lens, intense stewardship of Earth’s resources (biodiversity) was fostered enabling desertified areas to be re-greened. Food, subsequently, became abundant across the globe. With their basic needs met, humans were able to cast their attention further and realized their connection to the cosmos and all there is, entering into communication with sentient beings in other galaxies. In this future, somewhere in the Timespace, there exists a museum containing the exhibit: Earth: Garden of Future Sounds.

A participatory, storytelling, manifestation machine brought to life through tactile, auditory and visual reactions meant to introduce the audience to the interconnected nature of Planet Earth. Visitors engage with the piece through touch, triggering visible interactions including sound and light. Peek inside the trees of Earth: Garden of Future Sounds and you may find crystals or even a hologram of the Earth itself.

Did you know... every tree has a “spot:? In this future they do. Today, your dog or cat knows you are petting them and has certain preferences and learns your preferences too. Trees and plants and even rocks in this future have “learned” that humans enjoy a variety of sensory output and when we interact with them in a way they appreciate, they respond with lights, sound and other sensory gifts.

About the artist:

Known for unexpected transformations and “alchemic upcycling”, Taos based conceptual artist, Natalina, creates experiences for their audience. Their current body of work, Future Sounds, explores the impact the sounds that surround us and the sounds we project into the world have on our present and our future. Interactive sculptures and tactile experience engage the audience as co creators of not only the work in front of them but in the future of our lives, together.
